Our Founder
Dr. Moniruzzaman Moral is the founder of SNPlex Genomics, with expertise in genomics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. He has over 15 years of experience working across research environments in the United States, China, Malaysia, and Bangladesh, focusing on applying genomic technologies to real-world biological and agricultural challenges.
He holds a PhD in Chemical & Process Engineering and has extensive experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS), including whole genome sequencing, RNA-seq analysis, SNP discovery, and population genomics using high-performance computing platforms such as the University of Florida HiPerGator.
His work also includes CRISPR-based genome editing, vector design, and plant biotechnology, giving him a unique combination of computational and experimental expertise.
Dr. Moniruzzaman founded SNPlex Genomics to address a key challenge in modern science: while genomics is powerful, it is often complex and inaccessible for many researchers.
